Excellent goods from you, man. I've remember your stuff prior to and you're just too magnificent.
I really like what you've acquired here, certainly like what you're stating and
the way in which by which you assert it. You're making it enjoyable and you continue to care for to stay it smart. I can not wait to learn much more from you. This is actually a great website.

All honesty, since I never stayed at the Hotel I cannot comment on the food (good nor bad). However since I have been to Georgetown, Guyana numerous visiting my family I can definitely say that the place as a whole is damp, so I am not surprised about the dampness in the rooms. However for $150 USD/night one would come to eXpect that things such as Central Air would be up to standard and they'd have used some of that cost to import some methods to have the conditions of the rooms up to international Standards. Seriously, I never saw nor felt Guyana to be so dangerous that I'd have to hole up in the most eXpensive hotel in the country, when I have family there. Food for thought. If you want to be fearful of your vacation, try vacationing in Downtown Kingston, Jamaica. Now that will give you better perspective on safety in Guyana when you compare. Anyhow overall, both the Guyanese peoples & Jamaican peoples are very lovely people and I am proud to be 50% of both. Please remain positive about your homeland. Blessings and love.

Come to think of it I wouldn't even pay that for a year. I imagine the decimal point is two places further to the right than it should be. Oughtn't this to read US$35.00 a month?

I ask the same question. Are the prices on this page for real or some kind of sick joke? http://mail.gtt.co.gy/bandwidth.html It says the prices are in USD. That I cannot believe. The lowest service of 1 Mbps costs US$3,500.00 a month?? Maybe a year would be more accurate. I am astounded. Someone put me right please!!!!

I am a Guyanese and spent most of my adult life in the UK and am now living in Poland. I am appalled to read of the price of an internet connection in Guyana. In Poland, ex communist country and now part of European Union, i have wireless internet. The contract costs 69 Polish Zloty a month which is equal to about 4,500 Guyanese Dollars for which I get 20 Mbps - about 17 Mbps download (unlimited), and about 1 Mbps upload. If anything goes wrong with the service I ring up and they either go through it with me on the phone and try to rectify it or I am given a reference number and told it will be sorted within 48 hours. They are pretty good with that and very helpful. There is competition here. No monopoly. I am a pensioner now. Does anyone really expect me to want to return to Guyana knowing about such problems? I wonder how far even my UK pensions would get me in Guyana.
Think again Guyana government!

Just last week my friends and I were talking about Ras Daniel Heartman & his work and was wondering what had happen to him. I am so sorry to hear that he had died from 1982 but Jamaica should make sure that his work continue to live on. He was such a talented artist (some of the best pencil drawing) I have ever seen.
