July 18th 2009 (Westchester, New York) Link Up Media Inc famously known as Jamrock which produces Jamrock Magazine held their 12th annual reggae music festival at the Westchester County Center. What was delivered was nothing less than which was promised. The line up included Reggae icons such as the legendary Marcia Griffiths, Beres Hammond, Frankie Paul, Mykal Rose, John Holts, Natural Blacks, Culture many more.
Jamrock time and time again continues to raise the bar by producing quality entertainment to fans all around the Caribbean and last evening was no exception. Amidst the the evening’s entertainment, a special tribute was given to the late king of Pop, Michael Jackson and Marcia Griffiths paid tribute to the global icon Bob Marley for all his contributions in helping to open the doors and taking Reggae music to the world’s stage.
What was highly anticipated through out the evening and finally came around ten minutes to midnight was Beres Hammond, whose melodic sound echoed throughout the hall reaching the hearts of each and everyone.
Unfortunatley we were unable to remain for the performances of Frankie Paul and John Holt, but if past performances are a good indicator of future performances, we can say that they more likely than not rocked the house too.
We hope Jamrock continues the trend we witnessed last evening by producing quality shows for the local audience in New York.
Enjoy!

Didnot enjoy the show beres took too long to come on stage and when he finally did after 5 hours he only stayed half an hour or so I was very disappointed
Karen,
Indeed Beres was one the main artists but if you go to enough of these shows you would know that promoters always save the best for last in order to keep the audience around and sell more food etc and i think half an hour was fine considering Beres was not the only artist on the ticket.
Hi there,
